      Spend the afternoon at the Musee de la Civilization (Museum of Civilization). This museum consists of an extensive collection of both permanent and temporary exhibitions, all detailing human civilization.       Cross the Pont de Quebec. Across the St. Lawrence River lies this massive iron bridge called Pont de Quebec (Bridge of Quebec).       Visit the Citadel in Quebec City's Upper Town. Located atop the Cap Diamant, 330 feet above the rest of the city, visitors can get amazing views of Quebec City from the Citadel. Made in 1832, this enormous fortress is composed of thick walls, ditches and military quarters. This imposing building is restored and looks very similar to how it looked in the past.

      Shop on Rue du Tresor. This bustling and lively street is perhaps the artsiest section of Quebec City. It is often referred to as the Quebecois counterpart of Paris' Montmartre area, with its many street artists and performers.
