Aquaboulevard is not only the largest water park in Paris but also the largest water park in Europe. Aquaboulevard is located in southwest Paris, on the border between the 15th arrondissement and the town of Issy-les-Moulineaus. Whether escaping the Paris summer heat or winter cold, Aquaboulevard offers families swimming pools, wave pool, water rides, jacuzzis and slides in an indoor facility kept at 29 degrees Celsius. Notably, the Aquaplouf is an 80-m slide. The multisport facility also offers guests tennis, squash, a fitness center and beaches. Although Aquaboulevard is accessible by public transit, it also offers parking for approximately 900 cars. Several hotels are located near Aquaboulevard, including Porte de Versailles Hotel and Hotel du Parc St. Charles.

The Center Parcs Les Bois-Francs is located in Verneuil-sur-Avre, France, approximately an hour and a half drive away from Paris. The center offers guests access to a spa, 9 holes of golf and horse-riding center. However, it is also known for its indoor tropical water park, known as Aqua Mundo. Aqua Mundo offers visitors wave pools, a kiddie pool, water slide and 900-L tumbling bucket. The center is accessible from Paris by way of train and special shuttle. The center has at least seven restaurants for guests who work up an appetite playing in the Aqua Mundo. Guests who wish to spend the night at the center may select from hotel rooms for two or villas for up to eight people.

Aqualud is the largest amusement water park in Northern France, located at Le Touque Paris-Plage, approximately a two and a half hour drive north of Paris. Unlike Aquaboulevard, Aqualud is not open year-round, and in 2010 was only open from April 3 to November 14. The park keeps its water at 29 degrees Celsius. It offers guests 13 giant slides totaling approximately 600 meters of sliding as well as a wave pool and jacuzzi. Guests who forgot water accessories for their trip to Aqualud can restock at the Equateur boutique. Le Némo, a brasserie restaurant next to Aqualud, allows guests to enjoy French cuisine in a setting influenced by a Jules Verne novel.
