Along Findlay's North Main Street stands a the Stanley Raven Bookstore, which received its name as an ode to one of America's famous writers, Edgar Allan Poe, who wrote the poem, "The Raven." This bookstore sells books by special request, dried soups and loose tea. They also have a library of children's books to encourage reading in budding bookworms. Staff are even trained to help customers locate a book not part of the inventory. Book club meetings, writing contests, and children's story time are scheduled in the venue from time to time. The Ohio Magazine considers this bookstore the "best spot to read a good book."

The Alpaca Jack Farm has eight barns, a lake, a specialty store and a veterinary laboratory. They primarily provide breeding services for alpacas, a domesticated animal related to llamas; but, tours can be scheduled for those interested to seeing the facilities. The farm has a riding arena, where kids can experience being close to an alpaca. It also holds the Cria Derby in which young alpacas are allowed to roam and play while onlookers watch.
The Alpaca Jack Farm also provides seminars and investing tips to those interested in going into the business. In addition, they provide assistance for breeding, management of the farm, medical and health issues, animal husbandry and even selling and marketing alpacas.
