Myrtle Beach Pirate Attractions

Edward Teach, better known to the world as the pirate Blackbeard, operated in the waters near Grand Strand not far from Myrtle Beach. Several attractions in the city now pay homage to the pirates of the past in a family friendly manner. Myrtle Beach hosts a pirate festival in the summer, as well as pirate themed tours year round. Pirate fans can even play miniature golf on a course dedicated to the fictional pirate Captain Hook.
