  1. The Comedy Cabana

    • The Comedy Cabana attracts top-level talent, such as Lewis Black and Jimmy Walker, in a smoke-free environment. Shows have a two-item minimum (food and/or beverage). Minimum age is 18, though 16- and 17-year-olds are allowed with parents. The menu includes the Whoopie Goldburger hamburger, Comedy Club sandwich and pizza. Shows begin at 8 o'clock Tuesday-Saturday nights (and at 10:15 Fridays and Saturdays), plus additional performances from June through August and during holiday seasons. As of 2010, general admission was $15. Dress is casual. Reservations are recommended.

    Crocodile Rocks

    • Crocodile Rocks is a piano/karaoke bar that sometimes features local comedy. It is the place to go if you want to be more than a spectator; audience participation is encouraged. There is no cover charge with a college ID. Crocodile Rocks is part of Celebrity Square, Myrtle Beach's nightlife district, with 10 clubs total. Doors open at 7 p.m., and shows start at 8. There is no food, but the cover charge includes admission to Blarney Stone, which features an Irish-American menu.
