Company-operated terminals in major cities provide the most services for passengers, including full-service ticketing, package express service and extensive operating hours. Many are open 24 hours a day. In smaller cities, independent agents working in partnership with Greyhound often operate the terminals. Services usually include schedule service and package express service.
Some stops are not full terminals but are simple "bus stops." Usually these stops have no ticketing, baggage or package express services. They can be located in transit centers and airport terminals, as well uncovered areas along highways.
Greyhound has terminals located in every U.S. state except Alaska and Hawaii. Canadian provinces with Greyhound service include Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.
