Climb safely on the roof of the camper trailer using a ladder. Find a sturdy obstacle-free location big enough for the skylight while staying eight inches from the edge of the roof. Make sure the location is free of wires and lights inside the unit.
Mark off the location for the unit and drill a hole in each corner. Starting in one of the corner holes cut out the hole for the skylight.
Place the top portion of the skylight into the new hole.
Apply lap sealant at the point where the skykight fits into the roof. Pour the sealant where the rubber roof meets the camper's frame. Allow the sealant to "lap" and create a soft-set seal. Enter the camper trailer to complete the installation.
Fit the inside portion of the skylight into the the hole in the ceiling. Secure it to the outer portion using sealant and the screws that come with the skylight. Enjoy the new sunlight in your unit.
