How To Get Rid of Mold on a Rubber RV Roof

Rubber roofs for RV began to become popular in the 1980s as a cheaper alternative to aluminum. Rubber is strong, durable, flexible and therefore the material of choice by RV manufacturers. Exposed constantly to the elements, mold is a likely byproduct. Mold spores travel on the wind and find an easy resting place on roofs that have collected moisture. While not harmful to the roof, mold can leave some pretty unsightly black streaks.
