Open the camper. Fully extend the bunk ends and use the straps or bungee cords to secure the canvas under them.
Make sure the door is firmly closed and that all windows are tightly shut.
Hose down the canvas and other exterior surfaces that have been affected by mold. Use a power washer if you have one.
Use a large, soft brush and warm, soapy water to clean the affected surfaces. Scrub hard to remove as much mold as possible.
Mix 50 percent bleach and 50 percent water in a spray bottle. Apply the bleach solution to all of the affected areas. Let sit for about 5 minutes, but don't let it dry.
Rinse well with plain water. Let dry thoroughly before you close the camper back up.
Remove the curtains, seat covers and any other fabric items. Wash them in warm water and let air-dry in the sun.
Take out the cushions and mattresses. Place them on a clean outdoor surface in the sun. Turn them over from time to time.
Treat serious stains on cushions and mattresses with stain cleaner. Vacuum the surfaces thoroughly. Clean the surfaces with warm, soapy water and rinse well. Don't saturate the material. Let dry in the sun.
Sprinkle mattresses and cushions with baking soda before putting the covers back on.
Wash all interior surfaces with a 50/50 bleac/water solution. Rinse well. Dry with a soft cloth. Put an opened box of baking soda in the trailer to absorb bleach and mold odors.
Inspect the camper to find out where moisture is intruding. Fix these areas to prevent additional mold.
Close the pop-up camper after everything has dried thoroughly.
