The Otter Springs Park and Campground is situated on 636 sprawling acres in Trenton, Florida just 10 minutes east of Steinhatchee. The park is home to RV lots, primitive tent sites and cabin rentals. The park features an indoor heated pool as well as a natural spring which flows 10 million gallons of 73 degree water past the park each day. Otter Springs also features an indoor game room for kids complete with board games, air hockey and foosball tables.

The Suwanne River Hideaway campground is located 15 minutes east of Steinhatchee. The park features a 1,500-foot boardwalk that traverses the neighboring wetlands all the way to the banks of the river, and ideal location for fishing, birdwatching and biking. The park is also situated next to the Old Railway Trestle bike path which offers 30 miles of paved, uninterrupted travel through the wilderness. Primitive camping and RV sites are available, and free wireless Internet access is provided for guests.

Ten minutes southeast of Steinhatchee sits the Old Town Campground N' Retreat. Primitive camping and cabin rentals are available at the establishment, as are 30 and 50-amp RV sites with sewer hookups. Each campsite is outfitted with a picnic table and campfire pit. Guests also have access to the parks pavilion deck that features a large barbecue grill. Laundry service, mail service and ice are also all available to guests of the Old Town campground.
