Trail River Campground has 91 campsites, a number of which are located off a large loop suitable for RV access. No hookups are included. The campground is generally open from mid-May through mid-September, depending on weather. A group campsite is also available. Amenities at Trail River include fire pits, dumpsters, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, bathrooms and drinking water access. Stay for a maximum of 14 nights, and sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Kenai Lake and the Trail River are short walks away.

Tenderfoot Creek Campground is located in a forest of spruce and hemlocks on the shores of Summit Lake. Summit Lake Lodge is nearby. The campground features 35 available sites, none of which include hook-ups. Amenities include a boat ramp, fire pits, dumpsters, picnic table, drinking water and toilets. Campers may stay for a maximum of 14 nights. Users pay for the campsite at a pay station located at the entrance. Fish in a lake, river or stream nearby with Dolly Varden and rainbow trout as the most commonly caught fish.

Alaska Canoe & Campground is located 55 miles to the west of Moose Pass. The campground includes RV sites with water, sewer and electric hook-ups, tent sites and cabins. All sites are wooded and include a fire pit and picnic table. Amenities include bathrooms, wireless Internet access, fishing gear and canoe rental and freezer space for fish. The campground offers shuttle services to the Kenai River.
