Waterfront RV Parks & Campgrounds in Louisiana

Louisiana is a state famous for battles (the Battle of New Orleans in the War of 1812), bayous and ante-bellum mansions. Here the mighty Mississippi River empties into the Gulf of Mexico. Once owned by France and Spain before its purchase by the United States in 1803, Louisiana has a colorful history. Its major city, New Orleans, is famous for jazz music and the French Quarter.
