Located in West Galena, the Palace Campgrounds offer guests a wide variety of facilities and activities. Tent, RV and camping sites all are available. There also are five cabins with air-conditioning.
All the sites have water and electric. Some of the sites also have a water-sewer combination. There are three bathhouses with 16 showers. Other features on the property are a heated swimming pool, a playground, a clubhouse, an arcade building and miniature golf. Outdoor movies and hayrides are available during the summer months on Saturday nights.

Located 30 minutes south of Galena, the Seven Eagles Resort and Campground is situated next to the Spring Lake Wildlife Refuge and the Great River Bike Path. You have your choice of staying in cabins, tent sites or at full-hookup RV sites that have 20- 30- and 50-amp electric, water and sewer.
Two playgrounds, a heated pool, a theater, a clubhouse, a laundromat, a bathhouse with free showers and paddle boats are among the many amenities. Children and adults also can fish in the campground's stocked pond.

The Rustic Barn Campground actually is located in Wisconsin but is only 17 miles from Galena. The Rustic Barn Campground has 58 sites that come with water and electrical hookups. Twenty of those sites are long pull-throughs with 50-amp electrical service. Campers also can opt for tent sites.
A bathhouse is within easy walking distance of all the sites. Fire rings and firewood are available. A dumping station is located at the entrance, and a chapel is on the grounds. The Rustic Barn has an office, store and large lounge room.
