This tent-only campground provides a few kitchen shelters and flush toilets, but no showers are available. The main campground is open mid-May through mid-September.

    Tunnel Mountain Campground

    • Tunnel Mountain Campground is located near Tunnel Mountain where campers may enjoy hiking, biking or guided backpacking tours. The campground is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, laundry services and swimming pools. Nestled deep in the wilderness, campers have the opportunity to be up close and personal with a variety of wildlife. There are 321 full-service sites that include water and power, 188 power-only sites and 618 nonserviced sites. The power-only sites are open year round, whereas the other sites are open from May to October.

    Lake Louise Campground

    • Lake Louise Campground rests in a wooded setting along the Bow River. Campers have the opportunity to go swimming during the warmer months as well as rafting, canoeing, hiking, biking and fishing. As the campground is located within a natural habitat used by wildlife, Park Canada presents interpretive programs at the campground theater throughout the summer to educate campers. There are 189 drive-through RV sites in the summer and 30 in the winter, with power hookups, toilets, hot and cold water, showers and sanitation stations. RV sites are open year round. Tenting at Lake Louise is available in early spring and late fall, to protect both people and bears. The 210 tent sites include toilets, hot and cold water, showers, kitchen shelters, fire rings and firewood.
