    • There are two "first come, first served" campgrounds within the 4,038 acres of Norris Dam State Park. The western section has 50 campsites--all with grills, picnic tables and hookups for water and electricity. Some of the eastern section's 25 sites are primitive with no hookups; the rest are similar to those in the western section. An additional, reservations-only campground--exclusively for youth groups and scout troops--is entirely primitive. The park has a dump station, laundry facility, bath house, swimming pool and recreation center, plus miles of woodland trails. The bath house and pool are closed in the winter. The park asks that visitors leash their pets. Norris Dam Marina sells fishing supplies and has boat slips, pontoons and personal watercraft for rent.
