How to Pack With Tissue Paper

After spending time packing your suitcase carefully, folding each garment painstakingly to fit it into your bag, you may not believe your eyes when you reach your destination and unpack a bunch of unsightly, wrinkled clothing. Instead of making room for an iron in your suitcase, if you pack with tissue paper separating each layer of fabric, you can reduce the frustrating wrinkles significantly and have more time to enjoy your vacation.

Instructions

    • 1

Place a garment flat on a bed to pack it.

    • 2

Cover the entire garment with a sheet of tissue paper. Use more than one sheet of tissue paper for a large or long garment.

    • 3

Fold the garment in half, folding the tissue paper inside the garment.

    • 4

Cover the folded garment with another sheet of tissue paper.

    • 5

Fold the garment again with the tissue paper inside the garment.

    • 6

Place another sheet of tissue paper over the garment and fold it again. Continue layering the tissue paper in between folds until you finish folding the garment into the size you desire to fit into your suitcase.

    • 7

Set the folded garment into your suitcase.

    • 8

Repeat the process with each garment.
