How to Renew a Philippines Passport in Washington, DC

The Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C. offers citizens the ability to renew their passport while abroad. The Filipino passport, an ePassport, includes a chip in the passport which helps to verify the identity of its owner. For this reason, applicants are not required to submit photos with their application: photos will be taken on-site, in addition to fingerprints and signatures, to prevent any tampering with the photo or identification of the person.
