Check the official embassy website at manila.usembassy.gov. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to renew the passport by mail with materials available online.
Fill out form DS-82 in block letters. Only fill out this form if the passport was issued after you turned 15, or if it issued less than 15 years ago. If you do not meet these qualifications, you must fill out form DS-11 and renew the passport in person at the U.S. consulate in Manila.
Send the signed DS-82 form, the most recent passport, two passport photos and proof of name change (if applicable) to Citizenship and Passport Unit, American Citizens Service, Consular Section, U.S. Embassy, 1201 Roxas Boulevard, 1000 Manila. The materials can also be picked up by a contracted courier. Call (02) 528-7136 (press 6).
Look for an email from the embassy. It will say when you need to come to the embassy to pay the application fee of $110 (as of 2011), and to arrange delivery of the passport through the courier service. The passport will be delivered within three weeks.
Review the passport for errors or omissions. If the passport does not arrive within three weeks, send an email to [email protected] or call (632) 301-2000, extension 2555 or 2532.
