How to Add a Child to Parents' U.K. Visas

A visa is a legal document entitling the owner to entrance or temporary residence within a country or area. Visas may be renewable to allow the owner to reside in the country after the stated time period on the document has elapsed. Adding a family member requires a separate document (a Family Visitor Application Form) to be filled out and processed at a visa application center. The family member will be entitled to the same rights as the owner.
