How to Confirm a Southwest Airlines Arrival

Southwest Airlines was incorporated in March 1967 and started service in 1971 with only three Boeing 737 aircraft.   Go to Southwest.com to find information on the latest flight status.

  Go to "Air" and choose "Flight Status."

  Choose the departure city from the drop-down menu and enter the travel date. Type in the arrival city or the flight number of the Southwest Airlines flight. Arrival and departure statuses are available on Southwest Airlines website for yesterday, today and tomorrow.

  Click on the "Check Status" on the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

  Go to the results page, which will automatically appear.

  Find the flight you want with the scheduled departure and arrival time, and choose "View Status." Follow the results page to find the arrival gate of the Southwest Airlines flight.
