State parks throughout Minnesota accept groups of 12 to 200. Whitewater State Park in the southern corner of the state welcomes groups to three sites. One site at the 2,700-acre park can accommodate up to 50 people, the second can host 20, and up to 30 guests may stay at the third site. Only tents are allowed on these campgrounds, which feature a vault toilet and hand water pump. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources notes Whitewater State Park has few mosquitoes, rugged hiking trails and trout fishing in the summer and winter.
