Interstate State Park is a large area that extends from Minnesota to Wisconsin and provides opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, rafting, hiking and fishing. In Taylors Falls, Interstate State Park features 37 back-in sites large enough to accommodate 17-by-45-foot RV vehicles. Many of the spaces are handicapped-accessible, and 22 have electrical hookups. On-site amenities include restrooms, showers, a waste dump, a public phone and firewood. The campground is open April through November. The maximum stay at the park is 14 days.

Wildwood Campground is located at Wildwood Mountain, home of skiing, snowboarding, snow-tubing, kayaking, canoeing and a water park with slides and go-carts. The campground has 100 RV sites,18 of which are pull-throughs sized 25 by 55 feet. The remaining sites are 30-by-40-foot back-ins. About half of the sites have full hookup. The campground offers guests restrooms, showers, a waste dump, a public phone, firewood, boat rentals, a heated pool, a horseshoe pit, a playground and a game room. Tent sites are also available. Wildwood Campground is open from May to October.

Camp Waub-O-Jeeg is a small campground intended for families, located along the St. Croix River. The campground features two-level sites for RVs or motor homes. No hookups are available. There are also campsites available with fire rings for primitive camping in tents or sleeping bags under the stars. A store is available on site with camping and RV supplies.

Wild River State Park is an 18-mile public recreational area along the St. Croix River. Visitors to the park can enjoy camping, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing and kiking. The 96 sites at the park include two pull-through spots that can accommodate 15-by-80-foot vehicles, and the remaining 94, which are 15 by 60 feet in size. Only 17 sites have electrical hookups. The park's featured amenities are restrooms, showers, a waste dump, a public phone and firewood. A boating ramp and boat rentals are available at the park.
