Campgrounds in Frazier Park, California

Frazier Park has many campgrounds and is located in Los Padres National Forest, which sits on almost two million acres of land. If you visit the park and participate in recreation activities and stay in any of the campgrounds, you need The Forest Service Adventure Pass. The pass must be displayed on vehicles parked in any Southern California National Forest and allows you to participate in activities such as picnicking, skiing, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Passes may be obtained by visiting the USDA Forest Service website, listed in the resource section.

  1. Aliso Campground

    • Aliso Campground has 10 campsites that are open all year round. Activities at or near the campground include camping; hiking backpacking or horseback riding on the Jackson Trail, Manzana Trail and the Sweetwater Trail; whitewater paddling in Cuyama River; and picnicking. You can also visit Quail Spring Reservoir, which is a lake right next to the campground. The services and facilities at Aliso Campground are restrooms and RV sites for RVs up to 28 feet long.

    Campo Alto Campground

    • Campo Alto Campground has 13 single campsites and two group campgrounds that can each accommodate up to 30 guests. The campground is open from spring to fall. You can enjoy activities such as camping, swimming, hiking and backpacking on Cedar Lake Trail or McGuire Trail. You can also visit Lake of the Woods, which is located near the campground. Campo Alto Campground has restrooms for your convenience and RV sites for RVs up to 30 feet in length.

    Chuchupate Campground

    • Chuchupate Campground is located close to Fort Tejon State Park and Hungry Valley State Park. It has 30 campsites near the Chuchupate Ranger Station and is open from spring to fall. At the campground, you can enjoy activities such as camping, fishing in Sespe Creek, or hiking and backpacking the Alder Creek Trail or Snowy Creek Trail. Services and facilities at the campground include restrooms and RV sites for RVs up to 24 feet in length.

    Reyes Creek Campground

    • Reyes Creek Campground has 30 campsites and a group camping area for 15 to 20 people. It is located near the Sespe Wilderness and is the trailhead for the Reyes Creek Trail and Gene Marshall-Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail. You can enjoy outdoor activities such as camping; fishing and wading in Reyes Creek; hiking and backpacking in The Deal Trail and Ortega Trail; and watersports in Matilija Lake. For your convenience, the campground has drinking water, restrooms and RV sites for RVs up to 22 feet long.
