How to Get a Passport in Missouri

Before travelling outside of the United States, U.S. citizens---even infants and toddlers---must have a United States of America issued passport, which verifies U.S. citizenship abroad and records travel to and from international destinations. According to the U.S. Department of State's Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, individuals require a passport to re-enter the U.S. even from Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean Islands. It is important to begin the process of obtaining your passport approximately 10 weeks ahead of planned travel. In Missouri, you can do this several ways.
