Book a tour through a Libyan tour company. You cannot get a visa without a reservation with a tour operator. There are many tour operators and tours to choose from. You can book a tour with a company that specializes in exploring the Roman and Greek ruins, the Sahara Desert or choose a company that will allow you to form your own itinerary. Submit the visa application and passport copy to the tour company. You can download the application online from the Libyan Embassy website. However many of the tour companies will provide you with a visa application form as well. Some have online visa applications. You will also need to email the tour company scanned pages of all the date pages in your passport. The tour agency will take care of the rest of the visa processing which takes between seven and 14 business days. You will receive your visa upon arrival at the airport in Libya.

Bring your sisa letter with you to the airport. Once your visa application has been approved, the tour company will send you the visa letter which has your Visa Authorization Number.
