Waterparks in Southeastern Michigan

The children's water playground is called the Soak Station and has 68 features such as water jets, bubbler jets and a 6-foot bucket that tips over. Spray and Play is a water play area for toddlers that consists of 15 water jets and bubblers for them to enjoy. The wave-action pool is heated to 78 degrees, so it is ideal for cooler days. You will also find a waterslide and a 990-foot river ride.

    Waterford Oaks Water Park

    • Waterford Oaks Water Park can be found in Waterford, Michigan, and is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. The water park has a variety of features. The children's water playground is known as the Big Bucket and has over 30 interactive activities like waterfalls, sprays and a gigantic tipping bucket. Ragin' Rapids is an exciting group raft ride that starts three stories up and takes riders 515 feet through turns and drops, finally ending in a 3-foot splash pool. Other rides include a tropical-themed wave pool and a wave action pool that is heated to 78 degrees.

    Family Aquatic Center at Chandler Park

    • This water park is located in Detroit, Michigan, and is also open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Small children will enjoy the huge water play area, while older kids and adults can enjoy the two large water slides. You will also find a wave pool that is designed for any age, and your family can have a peaceful picnic in the shade after everyone has played enough for the day.
