Forensic science camps are for high-school students interested in science, especially crime-scene-investigation science. Participants typically learn about the types of evidence left at crime scenes as well as the process of forensic analysis. Fingerprints, blood typing, DNA and other forensic evidence are collected and analyzed by the students. Participants then attempt to solve the crime mystery using the techniques they have learned at camp.
Learning Quest is an educational program run by the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada that provides summer camp opportunities in science for girls and boys ages 8 to 11. Kids get to try to solve mysteries and learn forensic science. The co-educational day camp runs for four days and costs $185.
