How to Convert United Airlines Miles to Southwest

If you have accumulated miles with an airline that you no longer want to use, or perhaps have moved into an area that isn't serviced by that airline, you can move your points. Moving your points requires several steps, as you will have to use a middleman to do so. Changing United Airlines miles to Southwest requires moving them through Diners Club Rewards.

Instructions

Join Diner's Club Rewards Program. Diner's Club rewards program allows transfer of points to and from 11 different airlines. United and Southwest are both included in that list. The program does have a fee of $95 to join.
