Wanderlust World Wanderlust World Select a shade of eyeliner that fits your complexion and eye color. Several shades of gray, black and brown exist in eyeliner, so this is where you can get creative. Dark, smoky brown tones pair well with lighter shades of eyeshadow.
Apply the tip of the eyeliner to the outer edge of your top eyelid. Make an even line from the outer lid to the inner part.
Apply the tip to the inside edge of your lower eyelid and make an even line outward. Make this line half the size of the line on your upper lid. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with your other eye.
Select a dark mascara that is formulated for the effect you want to achieve. For example some mascaras are formulated to create the illusion of longer, thicker lashes. Some create a more separated appearance as well. Apply the mascara to your upper eyelids only.
Dip the tip of a cotton swab in a color of eyeshadow of your choosing. Brown or black Asian eyes are brought out by neutral tones of brown and green. Apply the tip of the cotton swab to the inside edge of your upper eyelid. Softly brush the cotton swab outward to apply the color.
Apply a second coat of mascara.
Insert your eyelashes between the clamps of the eyelash curler. Squeeze the handle of the curler gently to curl your eyelashes.
