    • On the banks of Chippewa River in Swift Falls, Minnesota, Swift Falls County Park offers seasonal camping from mid-May to mid-October. The park is 15 miles northeast of Benson, Minnesota. From Benson, take Highway 9 East 7 miles to Country Road #31. Follow it 6.5 miles to Country Road #26. Make a right turn into Swift Falls and the park is three-quarters of a mile on your right.

    Facilities

    • Swift Falls County Park Campground has 15 camping sites. Six of the sites are tent only sites. Facilities include electricity, handicap accessible bathrooms with showers and six picnic shelters. Camping fees range from 5 to 15 dollars a night. A camping permit is required, and anyone without a permit will not be able to stay after 10 P.M.

    Things to Do

    • The campground at Swift Falls County Park caters to the outdoors family with a playground, stream fishing, hiking trails and foot bridges. Pets are allowed on the campground. Children stay for free at Swift Falls County Park Campground. Campers may see waterfowl, game birds, deer and if lucky, bald eagles.
