Roanoke Mountain Campground is a National Park Service facility in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia near the city of Roanoke. The campground, which at mile post 120 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, offers tent and trailer camping sites with no hookups. This campground provides water, flush toilets and sinks and is close to a four-mile drive that loops by scenic overlooks.

Fancy Gap KOA campground is directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway in southern Virginia. This campsite, which is conveniently situated a few miles east of Interstate 77, features RV and tent sites, as well as cabins. Each RV site is equipped with 50 amp power and a cable TV hookup. The campground also has a playground, wireless Internet access, a fishing pond, a dump station, a gas supply and a recreation hall.

Montebello Camping & Fishing Resort is a large campground located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway about 55 miles southeast of Charlottesville in northwestern Virginia. This campground features tent sites, RV sites and cabins, a dump station, a laundromat, a supply store and a four-acre lake for fishing and boating. Each RV site is equipped with 30/50 amp power.
