Oceanside Campgrounds in Oregon

Oregon has 363 miles of coastline. The terrain ranges from wide, sandy beaches to rocky shorelines and cliffs. Many campgrounds along the ocean are state campgrounds, but some are privately owned. Amenities vary, as do rates. Oregon coast campgrounds are busy in the summer, so check for available space before you go.
  1. Cape Lookout State Park

    • Cape Lookout is on a sandy beach between the ocean and Netarts Bay and offers a spectacular ocean view and easy beach access. Over eight miles of hiking trails snake along bluffs and through ancient forest. Beachcombers can look for glass floats and other items that wash up onto the beach. The campground has almost 40 RV sites with full hookups and 173 spots for tents or RVs without hookups. Yurts and cabins are available. Prices start at $15 per night as of June 2010. Make camping reservations well in advance for all Oregon State Parks.
