One of the many recreation areas offered by Georgia Power, Old Salem is located directly on Lake Oconee. Old Salem offers a swimming beach, a pavilion, bathhouses and two docks for campers only. The park offers water and electricity hookups and sites for campers, tents and RVs. There are also dumping stations available.
There is also a boat ramp and two camper storage sites. Old Salem offers more than 90 campsites on the peninsula where it is located. Hot showers, flushing toilets and laundry facilities are available.

An Ocean Canyon Property, North Shore Resort has much to offer campers. Among the several amenities offered are wireless Internet, a large clubhouse, a game room, two swimming pools and game courts. The resort is designed for RV travelers and offers large pull-through sites with hookups.
The resort also is located on Lake Oconee. You can enjoy the many pleasures and activities the lake has to offer such as swimming, boating and fishing.
North Shore Resort had several railroad cars brought in to fulfill its railroad theme. Throughout the park, you can marvel at the many cabooses, club cars and boxcars that remain in the park today as offices, laundry areas and one- and two-bedroom rental cottages.
Ocean Canyon is a system of private resorts catering to RV travelers in the southern United States. Members of OCP also enjoy access to more than 300 additional partner resorts across the country.

Parks Ferry, another property owned by Georgia Power, offers you camping on Lake Oconee. There are several campsites to choose from, boat ramps, campers-only docks, a swimming beach and pavilions in Parks Ferry. As with Old Salem, water and electricity hookups are available along with a dump. More than 50 campsites are available at Parks Ferry.
You also are a neighbor to a wildlife habitat that is almost completely surrounded by water. Parks Ferry also offers its guests hot showers, flushing toilets and laundry facilities.
