Clear Springs

• The Clear Springs Campground is the flagship of campgrounds of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Wright Patman Lake. This site is located at the dam that helps form the lake. There are 87 RV-type site and 66 have full hookups and 30-amp connections, and 21 sites have 50-amp connections. There are 15 sites for pop-ups with no connections. These sites have partial shade, but there are six, not in the above number, that have electricity, water and are fully shaded. There are five more sites with full hookups that are handicapped accessible.
  Facilities include restrooms, showers, flush toilets, swimming and boat ramps. Hunting and fishing are allowed at the lake.

Rocky Point

• Rocky Point Campground is another of the Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds on the Wright Patman Lake in northeast Texas.
  The campground has 54 sites with 30-amp electric and water connections and 27 sites that are larger have 50-amp connections with water. There are 42 sites that have electricity and are designed for small campers and pop-ups.
  Rocky Point is the most developed site and offers a complete range of services to campers such as propane and other supplies.
  There are showers, restrooms, swimming, interpretive trails and boat ramps.
  This campground is off U.S. Highway 59, north of the dam.

Piney Point

• The Piney Point campground is the smallest of the three campgrounds around the Wright Patman Dam. There are 44 campsites with 15-amp connections and water. These sites are geared toward small campers and pop-ups, though a small RV could be used. There are four handicapped accessible sites.
  Piney Point is off U.S. Highway 59 and is south of the Wright Patman Dam.
  This campground is open from March 1 through Dec. 1 and the park offers a full range of services for campers. There are showers and restrooms, as well as boat ramp, courts for basketball and volleyball and a boat ramp. There are also several hiking trails in the area.
