Even though Michigan has four seasons of weather, you can still enjoy a swimming pool year-round at one of the several water parks across the state. The water parks provide a heated atmosphere during the fall and winter months and a cool recreation spot during the spring and summer months. No matter when you choose your indoor water park visit, you will have a great time.
Great Wolf Lodge, Traverse City, is an awesome water park for families. This indoor water park features three giant slides for one, two and three passengers on a raft, a lazy river, a hot tub and a children's area. A giant dump bucket drenches anyone who dares to stand under it when the bell rings!
The lodge also features two different restaurants, a snack shop serving alcoholic drinks, an arcade, an ice cream and candy store, a spa, a gift shop and the MagiQuest Game. The MagiQuest game involves special wands that are activated to find "magical" objects around the hotel. Pick your quest, follow the clues and see if you can reach all of the objectives before it's time to go home. Great Wolf Lodge is open year round.
