Place the mattress on top of the roof rack. Make sure that the mattress is evenly placed on the roof rack from front to back and side to side.
Connect a ratchet strap (using the hook on the end) to the front right side of the roof rack. Pull the strap over the mattress to the opposite side..
Connect the opposite end of the ratchet strap (using the hook on the end) to the left side of the front of the roof rack. Use the ratchet that is on the ratchet strap to tighten the strap.
Connect a ratchet strap (using the hook on the end) to the back right side of the roof rack. Pull the strap over the mattress to the opposite side.
Connect the opposite side of the strap (using the hook on the end) to the left side of the back of the roof rack. Use the ratchet on the ratchet strap to tighten the strap.
