Navigate to Canada's Citizenship and Immigration website. Determine if a visa is required for you to visit Vancouver.
Click on "Visiting Canada" and then select "How to Apply for a Visa." Fill out the "Application for Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada" completely and click "Validate." Print out the application.
Choose the option to pay your application fees. Input all your personal and credit card information. Print your receipt.
Locate two passport photos with your name and date of birth written on the back, a copy of your passport that is valid for at least six months, your visa fee receipt and a copy of your bank statement. You will also need to provide a copy of your itinerary and proof of departure flights.
Mail all of your documents and your visa application. In some rare cases, a medical exam or police certificate (security check) must be submitted. The sooner you follow up with the requests, the sooner your visa will be approved.
