Decide where you want to go. Keep in mind the safest places to go abroad and the not so safe areas to go. If you haven't travelled abroad before, talk with your parents as well as other people who have you travelled abroad about where they'd recommend you go and let them help you plan the trip.
Ask someone to travel with you. It is never safe to travel abroad alone for Spring Break. Not to mention, travel expenses are cheaper when they are split. Decide with your travel partner where you want to go.
Research. Research should not only include the area or town you want to stay in, but the hotel accommodations, flights to get there and sightseeing you want to do there.
Find a good travel agent who will be knowledgeable about travelling abroad and be able to save you a little money booking flights, reserving rental cars, hotels and other entertainment together. They will also be able to provide you with other valuable travel information, such as the currency exchange rate and language spoken there.
