Relax at a wooded campsite at Whippoorwill Campground in Marmora, about 5 miles south of Ocean City. Full and partial hookups are available for RVs and tents, and all sites include a fire ring and picnic table. Swim laps in the Olympic-sized pool, or watch the little ones splash around in the kiddie pool. Kids can build sandcastles and climb around on the playground, or cool off in the arcade. Head to the courts for a game of tennis or volleyball.
Bring your tent or RV, or rent a cabin at Sea Grove Camping Resort in Ocean View, roughly 10 miles south of Ocean City. Full and partial hookups are available for RVs, while tent sites are primitive. Sit on the covered porch of your one- or two-bedroom cabin and prepare dinner on the charcoal grill. Join in one of the many planned activities including pizza and movie nights, bingo, magic shows and socials. Take a dip in the pool or play a game of shuffleboard or games in the arcade room.
For something a little different, spend the night in a treehouse at Frontier Campground, also in Ocean View. The treehouses include three bunk beds, a living room, kitchen and covered deck. Primitive tent sites and RV sites with full and partial hookups are also available. A fire ring and picnic table is at each campsite, while hot showers and bath houses are within the campground. Catch a film on movie night, play games in the rec room or let the kids slide on the playground. Celebrate Mother’s Day with muffins and Father’s Day with a fish fry.
Rent a paddleboat to explore Trails End Lake or sunbathe on the white sandy beach at Ocean View Resort in Ocean View. Park your RV at a full hookup site, or rent a rustic one- or two-bedroom cabin or trailer. Get competitive with a round of mini golf on the 18-hole course, or gather friends for a game of softball, basketball, tennis or shuffleboard or games in the air-conditioned arcade. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, modern restrooms and a camp store.
