Juniper Hills campground hosts Michigan International Speedway patrons. More than 2,000 campsites accommodate race crowds on over 200 acres of land directly across from MIS. The campground welcomes motor homes, fifth-wheelers, campers and tents. There is a special area of the grounds for oversize RVs. Amenities at the park include an on-site store, potable water, dump stations, firewood, showers and restrooms.

Kooters Creekside Campground caters to race fans visiting Michigan International Speedway with a scenic, shaded campground that includes air-conditioned yet rustic cabins for rent. A large pavilion is available to rent for special occasions or group gatherings. The campground is a quarter-mile from one of the MIS gates.

Michigan International Speedway has 10 campgrounds on its property, including on the racetrack infield. Each offers a different experience. Some campgrounds allow RVs, campers, motor homes and tents. Northwoods campground at MIS offers wooded, tent-only camping, while Pit Road RV offers Class A motor coach accommodations only. Turn Two Retreat offers camping for self-contained units only, which means no tents or buses. Some campgrounds are billed as family-friendly and include playgrounds and showers. Amenities vary among campgrounds at MIS, but most include shower access, restrooms or portable toilets, a dump station and water. Only Brooklyn Trails campground has a convenience store. Campsites at MIS must be reserved in advance. Pets are not allowed, except at Graves Farm campground.

Sauk Valley Resort host campers in town for auto racing, but also offers activities and accommodations for guests who are simply there to camp and spend time outdoors. The campground overlooks Sauk Valley Resort's private lake, and offers tent and RV camping with electrical hookups. The speedway is about a mile from the campground, and shuttle service is available on race days. Other lodging, like rooms and cabins, is available at the resort. At Pickerel Lake, guests can swim, fish, boat, play beach volleyball or lounge on the sandy beach area. Sauk Valley's main lodge accommodates guests for meals or other gatherings.
