Campgrounds in Caseville City, Michigan

Caseville is a lakefront town located in eastern Michigan's thumb region. It is situated at the mouth of the Pigeon River, where it empties into Lake Huron. It is a destination for vacationers on the east side of the state looking for a sandy beach in the summer and year-round fishing opportunities. Caseville is host to Shanty Days festival in the winter and Cheeseburger Days in the summer.

    • Beadle Bay Marina and Campground is on Sand Point, on the outskirts of Caseville. The campground is popular among boaters because Beadle Bay offers boat slips with gas, ice, restrooms, showers and a place to stay all at one location. Campsites are maintained in a wooded section of the marina. All sites are equipped with electrical hookups, water and private fire pits. Attractions near Beadle Bay Marina and Campground include two golf courses, a miniature golf facility, shops and dining in Caseville.

    Caseville County Park

    • Caseville County Park is 40 acres of wooded areas and sandy beaches. It is part of the Huron County Parks system, which calls the beach at Caseville one of the best in the county. The park's campground provides 65 campsites with electricity and water, 67 full hookup sites for RVs and 72 sites for mobile homes. During the 10-day Cheeseburger Festival in August, the county opens up rustic sites for additional accommodations, but they are located in Caseville, not within the park. The county recommends that guests make reservations in advance, especially for weekends, holidays and special events, because the park fills up quickly. Pets are allowed at Caseville County Park. The park does not have a boat launch or fishing pier, but it is near Caseville Pier and a public marina.

    Sleeper State Park

    • Sleeper State Park is home to the largest campground in Caseville. The 723-acre park has 226 modern campsites with 50-amp hookups, electricity and modern restrooms. Sleeper State Park also has 13 cabins and lodges with electricity and modern restrooms. The park is home to sandy beaches and dunes, forests and wetlands. Four marked trials offer diverse hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Facilities at the park and campground include an outdoor center, beach house, picnic area and playground.

      Sleeper State Park does not have a boat launch on the grounds, but is near several state access sites, public sites and fishing piers. Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay fishing provide perch, walleye, salmon and lake trout.
