Lake Shore Resort is five miles north of Davison on the outskirts of Flint. The private spring-fed lake at the camping resort has a swim beach. Paddleboats, rowboats, canoes and aqua cycles are available. The campground features an indoor and an outdoor pool, fitness room, planned activities, live entertainment, adult lounge, hot tub and a community fire pit. The 398 sites feature full hookups and daily trash pickup. The onsite cafe serves breakfast and lunch.

Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area is 17 miles southeast of Davison. Lake Minnewanna, an 80-acre lake in the center of the area, has a fishing pier, swim beach, boat launch, boat rentals, picnic area and a playground. The 723-acre park features a six-mile hiking and cross country skiing trail. The campground has 214 sites with electric hookup and water. Campground facilities include dump station, a camp store, restrooms and showers.

Genesee Otter Lake Campground is 10 miles north of Davison. Otter Lake is a 30-acre private lake stocked with fish and featuring a swim beach. Rental boats include canoes, rowboats and paddleboat. Campground facilities include a camp store with a propane filling station, laundry area, restrooms, showers, arcade, playground, hayrides and hiking trails. Seasonal rates are available for the 130 campsites.

Hilltop Campground has 60 wooded campsites on Lake Nepessing, 10 miles east of Davison. Bring your own boat or rent a rowboat, motorboat, pedal boat or pontoon boat. The campground features a swim beach, playground, coin laundry, camp store, restroom and showers. Long-term, seasonal and daily rates and winter boat-storage are available.
