How to Obtain a Lebanese Visa

All visitors to Lebanon must secure a visa for entry into the country, regardless of whether your trip is for business or tourism. Fortunately, the Lebanese visa process is very straightforward and it should not take longer than a week or two to receive your visa. Check that you have included all the required documents in your application or it may take longer for your visa to be processed. The U.S. State Department regularly issues travel warnings for Lebanon due to violence and security concerns. Check the State Department website before your trip for the most current travel information and warnings.

Include a business reference letter if you are requesting a Lebanese business visa. The letter should be written by your company in the United States or a Lebanese business contact detailing what sort of business you will be conducting in Lebanon. For a business visa, you will also have to include all the documents mentioned in Step 3.
